El Salvador Lawyer, was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, and graduated as Lawyer in Legal Sciences from the University "Dr. José Matías Delgado" (El Salvador) (1985); Technical Degree in Hotel Management and Tourism; Post Graduate in Environmental Administration at an alliance between the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Albert Einstein University in El Salvador (2002); Post Graduate in National Security and Development at the Salvadoran Armed Forces School of Higher Strategic Education (2002), earning the title of Distinguished Graduate.

In addition to have exerted her profession privately since that date, she has carried out the following public positions: a) PERIOD 1988-1991: Congresswoman to the Legislative Assembly ; b) PERIOD 1991-1994: Congresswoman to the Legislative Assembly for the Department of San Salvador, President of the Commission for Women, Family and Children c) 1991-1994: Representative for El Salvador before different international organizations d) 1992-1993: Adviser to the Commission of Salvador-Honduras Borders for the Ministry of Foreign Relations; e) 1994-1995: Legal Adviser for the Minister of the Interior and Public Security; and f) 1994-1995: Legal Adviser (ad honorem) for the Executive Secretary of the Environment (SEMA). g) 1999-present: Legal Adviser for the Minister of Government. She has participated in a great amount of seminars regarding legislation, many of them as an exhibitor.  She is an invited University Professor for several universities. She has created works of consulting in analysis, studied and processed First Drafts for Laws, Decrees and Regulations in general. She is a columnist for El Diario de Hoy (the local Newspaper). In 1996 she obtained the National Prize of Handicrafts "Orden Cecilia Casto Lara", for her contributions to improving the legislation for the protection and promotion of Salvadoran Handicrafts.  Since 1995 she serves as Honorary President of Gold Service, S.A. de C.V. LANGUAGES: English and Spanish.  MEMBERSHIPS: Inter-American association of Lawyers (Washington), Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI); Chamber of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador, Salvadoran Association of Industrialists; Legal Training Center.   Areas of Practice: Intellectual Property, Corporate Law, Investment, Telecommunication and Business Law.
